With so many betting systems out there, it's getting hard to know which ones really work. The LaBouchere betting system is one of those, and the real beauty about is that it's totally free. It may be a little hard to understand at first, but with a little practice you'll be doing it like it were born with it inscribed into your brain.
We'll use it on Roulette, betting on either even/odd, high/low, or black/red.
The first step is to select a desired profit. Don't get too greedy, as it will come back to bite you in the ass. For starters, let's select 10. At this point we compile a list of numbers that when added up, amount to 10. So, for example: 1 – 2 – 2 – 1 – 2 – 2.
Now we can start betting. We take the first and last numbers of list (in this case 1 and 2) and add them up to get 3. This will be our first bet.
If we win, we cross out the two numbers we've added up and again take the new first and last numbers. If we lose, we don't cross anything out, but just add our new number to the end of the list (in this case it was 3) and again add up the first and last numbers (1 and 3).
After we lose, the list will now look like this:
1 – 2 – 2 – 1 – 2 – 2 – 3.
Now we simply repeat until all numbers are crossed out.
This betting system may seem over-complex at first, but if you write everything down and really keep track of things you'll get it down in no time. When you choose the desired profit, make sure that it isn't too high, so that you don't get hit by table limits and that your bankroll will be able to sustain a losing streak.
This is one of the few betting systems that actually work, so may the force be with you. |
